Breeding plans

We breed average 1-3 litters annually, mostly from co-owned bitches, choosing the most promising combinations
trying to provide the health, working ability and correct structure of the progeny. We do our best to avoid any health
problems, choose health screened parents for our litters and test every litter for CEA. We also encourage all the
owners of our pups to health test the dogs for hip and elbow dysplasia and hereditary eye defects when they are
old enough for that.

If you are interested in joining the team, please read the pages breeding ethics, brood bitches and health statistics
to get the idea of our aims, and feel free to read the results as well in trials, character tests and shows.

Border Collies:

Niila had her litter with Otto 28th August 2008. You can see photos
of these babies at their picture page. These babies are already living in their new wonderful homes.

Tuisku will be mated to Mike in November. More information you

Shetland Sheepdogs:

We do not have any litters of Shelties in the next few years.

What we demand from our homes

All these litters - like all our previous litters during history of our 15 years of Border Collie breeding - are bred three aims in mind:
Health, temperament and suitability to different performance activities and correct structure. All of the puppies are looking for suitable
home who is seriously interested in some kind of performance activity/activities with their future puppy. Suitable puppy is chosen by their temperament as they grow up, and final decission of their future home will be done by the age 6-7 weeks, when we hope to see well enough the characteristics of the pups to know which of them suits best each of the future owners and their vise versa. Decission of the of the future owners of each puppy will be based on temperament and suitability of the puppy and future owner, NEVER by the colour or any other reason like that. None of our puppies are suitable for pets only, as they are far too active for that. Also, there are far more suitable dogs if you are looking for a company for your daily walks. All of our puppies include lifetime 24/7 hour guarantee. In case of problems you can - and we hope you do - contact us any time all through the life of your dog since puppyhood till the old age. We try to solve the problms or help you to find place or person who can together with us help you. We also love to share also the good news, all about successful trainings, and wha´s best, if you ever happen to compete, to hear the results of the competition is the best thing we know to wait, no matter if it has been first or last.
